I am using Windows 7 64-bit and I have been trying to install patches for a pucker, paid for version of SPORE TM - albeit two years old now. To cut a long story short, I have had troubles with updates or 'patches' and EA recommended to download the necessary patches from FileShack until they sort out the problem. This I have done but I was not given the option to 'run' when I downloaded so I 'saved' to my desktop. Now I don't know how to 'install' them. Can you help? I tried to 'open' them on the desktop but was simply asked what programme to open it with. No idea.
