Numbers
Unfortunately I have to sell my piano, but know very little about pianos so I'm looking for some help in determining the year and the value. It's a Vose & Sons upright grand and the serial number is 76369. On the inside it's written 'This piano commemorates the four hundredth anniversary of Columbus' landing' and the roman numerals are for 1892. I'm wondering if anyone could help me determine the approximate year and the possible value of a piano like this? The last time I had it tuned the tuner was amazed at how mechanically sound it was. Also, does anyone know the best way to go about selling a piano; local papers or online? If anyone has any information on this piano, that would be nice to hear too.
Thanks!
(sorry for the size of the picture)
