Device drivers are released by device manufacturers. I would suggest you to contact the manufacture or try installing the drivers in compatibility mode and check if it helps.
However, the DGX does NOT have the ability to do real-time encoding to either format, so only audio that is already encoded (say, watching a movie through a media player) will output as 5.1. Asus has updated these drivers to incorporate the latest version of the control panel Audio Center but without changing the other. Asus also takes the opportunity to offer some additional drivers for other sound cards such as PCI Express ROG Xonar Phoebus models, Essence STX, DG, DGX U7 or the USB model.
You may also run the in-built troubleshooter and check if it helps. Type control panel on the search tab in the task bar>type control panel> on the search tab (top right corner)>type troubleshooting> on the right>click on view all>choose Playing Audio and Recording Audio> follow the on screen steps.
